And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.


And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsai´da.


The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.


Now Philip was of Bethsai´da, the city of Andrew and Peter.


Philip findeth Nathan´a-el, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.


And Nathan´a-el said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.


Nathan´a-el saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.


Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
