spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:


Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.


Is there no balm in Gil´e-ad? is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?


The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present, horns of ivory and ebony.


Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.


The merchants of Sheba and Ra´amah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.


But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God, which have separated you from other people.


And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.


and for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,


And now this blessing which thine handmaid hath brought unto my lord, let it even be given unto the young men that follow my lord.


Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we?
