And there accompanied him into Asia So´pater of Beroe´a; and of the Thessalo´ni-ans, Aristar´chus and Secun´dus; and Gai´us of Derbe, and Timothy; and of Asia, Tych´icus and Troph´imus.


For this cause have I sent unto you Timothy, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.


But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;


as ye also learned of Ep´aphras our dear fellow servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;


If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.


And Tych´icus have I sent to Ephesus.


When I shall send Ar´temas unto thee, or Tych´icus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicop´olis: for I have determined there to winter.


not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?


By Silva´nus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.


And account that the long-suffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
