Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.


Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.


Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them.


Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.


And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.


Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee.


but the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
