And it happened, when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the Sabbath, I said that the gates should be shut, and said that they should not be opened until after the Sabbath. And I stationed some of my servants at the gates, so that there should be no burden brought in on the Sabbath day.


And your gates shall be always open; they shall not be shut day or night, so that men may bring to you the force of nations, and that their kings may be led captive.


In those days, and at that time, a statement of Jehovah, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and it is not; and the sins of Judah, and they will not be found; for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.


And all trees for food shall go up by the torrent, on its lip on this side and on that side. Its leaf shall not fade, and its fruit shall not fail; it will bear by its months, because its waters come out from the sanctuary. And its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for healing.


And the woman took the two men and hid them, and said, This way the men came in to me, but I did not know from where they were.


But she made them go up on the roof, and hid them with stalks of flax, which she arranged on the roof.


And the men went after them the way of the Jordan, by the fords. And they shut the gate afterwards, when the pursuers had gone after them.


And its gates may not be shut by day, for no night will be there, not ever!


And Saul sent messengers to take David. And she said, He is sick.
