And He was looking around to see her who had done this thing.


And when Jesus saw that he became very sad, He said, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!


Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.


For you see your calling, brothers, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many powerful, not many noble, [are called].


Listen, my beloved brothers. Did God not choose the poor of the world [to be] rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those that love Him?


Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world is constituted an enemy of God.


For in this way the entrance will be supplied to you richly into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
