If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema. Marana tha!


But now I have written to you not to associate with anyone named a brother, who is a fornicator, or covetous person, or an idolater, or abusive person, or a drunkard, or a swindler-not even to eat with such a person.


Now if anyone does not obey our word in this letter, take note of him, and do not associate with him, that he may be ashamed.


But we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother living in idleness, and not according to the tradition which they received from us.


Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition,


for he who greets him shares in his evil works.


On account of this, if I come, I will call to mind his works which he does, slandering us with evil words. And not being content with that, he does not receive the brothers, and hinders those who desire to, casting them out of the church.
