For Macedonia and Achaia thought it good to make some contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.


On the first day of the week let each one of you put [something] aside, storing up whatever he may prosper, in order that there be no collections when I come.


What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were, foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.


Therefore show to them the proof of your love, and of our boasting concerning you, before the churches.


for I know your readiness, about which I boast concerning you to the Macedonians, that Achaia has been prepared since last year, and your zeal has provoked the majority.
