Gad’s sons were Zephon, Haggi, Shuni, Ezbon, Eri, Arodi, and Areli.


The people from the family group of Gad lived near the people from the family group of Reuben. The Gadite people lived in the area of Bashan, all the way to the town of Salecah.


They counted Gad’s family group. The names of all the men who were 20 years old or older and able to serve in the army were listed. They were listed with their families and family groups.


“Gad’s family group will also camp next to the people of Reuben. The leader of the people of Gad is Eliasaph son of Deuel. [15]
