This money will pay for the special bread that the priests put on the table in the temple. It will pay for the daily grain offerings and burnt offerings. It will pay for the offerings on the Sabbaths, New Moon {\cf2\super [63]} festivals, and other special meetings. It will pay for the holy offerings and for the sin offerings that make the people of Israel pure. {\cf2\super [64]} It will pay for any work needed on the temple of our God.\par


The man said to me, “The north rooms and south rooms across from the restricted area are holy. These rooms are for the priests that offer the sacrifices to the Lord. That is where the priests will eat the most holy offerings. And that is where they will put the most holy offerings. Why? Because this place is holy. The most holy offerings are: the grain offerings, the sin offerings, and the guilt offerings.


“At the feasts and other special meetings, an ephah {\cf2\super [455]} of grain offering must be offered with each young bull. And an ephah of grain offering must be offered with each ram. As for the grain offering with the lambs, the ruler can give as much as he wants. But he must give 1 hin {\cf2\super [456]} of olive oil for each ephah of grain.


So they will give the lamb, the grain offering and the oil every morning, for a burnt offering forever.”


He must give an ephah {\cf2\super [449]} of grain offering with the ram. As for the grain offering with the lambs, the ruler can give as much as he wants. But he must give 1 hin {\cf2\super [450]} of olive oil for each ephah {\cf2\super [451]} of grain.


The ruler must give an ephah {\cf2\super [452]} of grain offering with the bull, and an ephah of grain offering with the ram. Priests, servants of the Lord, cry!\par Why? Because there will be no more\par grain and drink offerings\par in the Lord’s temple. {\cf2\super [3]} \par


Who knows, maybe the Lord\par will change his mind.\par And maybe he will leave behind\par a blessing for you.\par Then you can give grain and drink offerings\par to the Lord your God.\par


“On the eighth day, the person who had a skin disease [196] must take two male lambs that have nothing wrong with them. He must also take a one-year-old female lamb that has nothing wrong with it. He must take 24 cups [197] of fine flour mixed with oil. This fine flour is for a grain offering. The person must take 2/3 of a pint [198] of olive oil.


“This is the law of the grain offering: The sons of Aaron must bring it to the Lord in front of the altar. [59]


Those are the laws about burnt offerings, grain offerings, sin offerings, guilt offerings, fellowship offerings, and about the choosing of priests.


Also bring 2 quarts of wine as a drink offering. This will be an offering made by fire. Its smell will please the Lord.


“You might prepare a young bull as a burnt offering, a sacrifice, a fellowship offering, or to keep a special promise to the Lord.


With each bull, you must give a grain offering of 24 cups [333] of fine flour mixed with olive oil. And with the ram, you must give a grain offering of 16 cups [334] of fine flour mixed with olive oil.


The drink offering will be 2 quarts [336] of wine with each bull, 1 1/4 quarts [337] of wine with the ram, and 1 quart [338] of wine with each lamb. That is the burnt offering that must be offered each and every month of the year.


Those offerings are in addition to the New Moon [353] sacrifice and its grain offering. And they are in addition to the daily sacrifice and its grain offerings and drink offerings. Those must be done according to the rules. They must be offerings made by fire. Their smell will please the Lord.


When the boy was old enough to eat solid food, Hannah took him to the Lord’s house at Shiloh. Hannah also took a bull that was three years old, 20 pounds [14] of flour, and a bottle of wine.
