Look, you people make war and steal things from people, and those people never stole anything from you. You turn against people, and those people never turned against you. Yes, if you forgive other people for the things they do wrong, then your Father in heaven will also forgive you for the things you do wrong.


“Think carefully about the things you hear. The way you give is the way God will give to you. But God will give you more than you give.


Give to other people, and you will receive. You will be given much. It will be poured into your hands—more than you can hold. You will be given so much that it will spill into your lap. The way you give to other people is the way God will give to you.”


Remember this: The person who plants little will harvest only a little. But the person who plants much will harvest much.


Yes, you must show mercy to other people. If you do not show mercy, then God will not show mercy to you when he judges you. But the person who shows mercy can stand without fear when he is judged.
