“But some of the people will escape. Those survivors will run to the mountains. But those people won’t be happy. They will be sad for all their sins. They will cry and make sad noises like doves.


Then Peter remembered what Jesus had told him: “Before the rooster crows, you will say three times that you don’t know me.” Then Peter went outside and cried bitterly.


What great blessings there are for the people that are sad now!\par God will comfort them.\par


After Peter said this, the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered what Jesus told him: “Before the rooster crows twice, you will say three times that you don’t know me.” Then Peter was very sad and began to cry.


Then the Lord (Jesus) turned and looked into Peter’s eyes. And Peter remembered what the Lord had said: “Before the rooster crows in the morning, you will say three times that you don’t know me.”


Some men were holding (guarding) Jesus. They made fun of Jesus and beat him.


So the person that thinks he is standing strong should be careful that he doesn’t fall.
