The angel answered him, “I am Gabriel. I always stand ready before God. God sent me to talk to you and to tell you this good news.

All the angels are spirits who serve God and are sent to help those people who will receive salvation.

The Angel of the Lord appeared to Manoah’s wife. He said, “You have not been able to have children. But you will become pregnant and have a son.


God heard Manoah’s prayer. The Angel of God came to the woman again. She was sitting in a field and her husband Manoah was not with her.
