Joshua 6:25 - Easy To Read Version

25 Joshua saved Rahab the prostitute, her family, and all the other people that were with her. Joshua let them live because Rahab helped the spies that Joshua had sent out to Jericho. Rahab still lives among the people of Israel today.

And Rahab, the prostitute, {\cf2\super [155]} welcomed the \{Israelite\} spies and helped them like friends. And because of her faith she was not killed with those other people who refused to obey.


Another example is Rahab. Rahab was a prostitute. {\cf2\super [16]} But she was made right with God by something she did: She helped the spies \{for God’s people\}. She welcomed them into her home and helped them escape by a different road. {\cf2\super [17]}


Joshua son of Nun and all the people were camped at Acacia. [1] Joshua sent out two spies. No one knew that Joshua sent out these men. Joshua said to the men, “Go and look at the land, especially the city of Jericho.”
