2 Kings 11:4 - Easy To Read Version

⁴ In the seventh year, Jehoiada {the high priest} sent and got the captains of the Carites [134] and guards. [135] Jehoiada brought them together in the Lord’s temple. [136] Then Jehoiada made an agreement with them. In the temple Jehoiada forced them to make a promise. Then he showed the king’s son (Joash) to them.
