1 Samuel 10:16 - Easy To Read Version

16 Saul answered, “Samuel told us the donkeys were already found.” Saul did not tell his uncle everything. Saul did not tell him the things Samuel said about the kingdom.

Samson got some of the honey with his hands. He walked along eating the honey. When he came to his parents, he gave them some of the honey. They ate it too. But Samson did not tell his parents that he had taken the honey from the body of the dead lion.


Saul’s uncle said, “Please tell me, what did Samuel say to you?”


And don’t worry about the donkeys that you lost three days ago. They have been found. Now, there is something that everybody in Israel is looking for and that something is you and your family!”


Saul, his servant, and Samuel were walking together near the edge of town. Samuel said to Saul, “Tell your servant to go on ahead of us. I have a message for you from God.” So the servant walked ahead of them.
