5 And every one that striveth for the mastery, refraineth himself from all things: and they indeed that they may receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible one.


1 I speak according to dishonour, as if we had been weak in this part. Wherein if any man dare (I speak foolishly), I dare also.


For though I should have a mind to glory, I shall not be foolish; for I will say the truth. But I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth in me, or any thing he heareth from me.


1 Him, who knew no sin, he hath made sin for us, that we might be made the justice of God in him.


But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed by the father:


8 For by him we have access both in one Spirit to the Father.


8 For many walk, of whom I have told you often (and now tell you weeping), that they are enemies of the cross of Christ;
