3 And lifting up his eyes when he was in torments, he saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom:


5 Who changed the truth of God into a lie; and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.


0 For, with the heart, we believe unto justice; but, with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.


What then? That which Israel sought, he hath not obtained: but the election hath obtained it; and the rest have been blinded.


5 For if the loss of them be the reconciliation of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?


0 For it is one God, that justifieth circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.


For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was reputed to him unto justice.


Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin may be destroyed, to the end that we may serve sin no longer.


As dying, and behold we live; as chastised, and not killed;


But thus rather shall you deal with them: Destroy their altars, and break their statues, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven things.


8 For many walk, of whom I have told you often (and now tell you weeping), that they are enemies of the cross of Christ;


0 Wherefore, brethren, labour the more, that by good works you may make sure your calling and election. For doing these things, you shall not sin at any time.
