(For we are but of yesterday, and are ignorant that our days upon earth are but a shadow:)


This month shall be to you the beginning of months: it shall be the first in the months of the year.


For it is a people that provoketh to wrath, and lying children, children that will not hear the law of God.


7 A thousand men shall flee for fear of one: and for fear of five shall you flee, till you be left as the mast of a ship on the top of a mountain, and as an ensign upon a hill.


And every one that calleth upon my name, I have created him for my glory, I have formed him, and made him.


And they went Into the land of Egypt, for they obeyed not the voice of the Lord: and they came as far as Taphnis.


2 Therefore behold the days shall come, saith the Lord, and it shall no more be called Topeth, nor the valley of the son of Ennom: but the valley of slaughter, and they shall bury in Topeth, because there is no place.


6 Because they cast off my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, and violated my sabbaths: for their heart went after idols.


And the high places of the idol, the sin of Israel shall be destroyed: the bur and the thistle shall grow up over their altars: and they shall say to the mountains: Cover us; and to the hills: Fall upon us.


9 And I will break the pride of your stubbornness, and I will make to you the heaven above as iron, and the earth as brass:


4 And passing through Pisidia, they came into Pamphylia.


0 Hath not my hand made all these things?


2 Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them.


And he had a son whose name was Saul, a choice and goodly man, and there was not among the children of Israel a goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he appeared above all the people.
