3 I believe to see the good things of the Lord in the land of the living.


2 Who is the man that desireth life: who loveth to see good days?


I have called upon thee in the day of my trouble: because thou hast heard me.


Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I have cried to thee all the day.


The Lord loveth the gates of Sion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.


6 O look upon me, and have mercy on me: give thy command to thy servant, and save the son of thy handmaid.


When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever:


The noise of a multitude in the mountains, as it were of many people, the noise of the sound of kings, of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts hath given charge to the troops of war.


5 In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified and praised.


4 And Sion said: The Lord hath forsaken me, and the Lord hath forgotten me.


8 Now she, at the same hour, coming in, confessed to the Lord; and spoke of him to all that looked for the redemption of Israel.


5 Some therefore of Jerusalem said: Is not this he whom they seek to kill?


2 And the tidings came to the ears of the church that was at Jerusalem, touching these things: and they sent Barnabas as far as Antioch.


4 And to shew that he raised him up from the dead, not to return now any more to corruption, he said thus: I will give you the holy things of David faithful.


Let love be without dissimulation. Hating that which is evil, cleaving to that which is good.


5 But I have written to you, brethren, more boldly in some sort, as it were putting you in mind: because of the grace which is given me from God.


8 For I dare not to speak of any of those things which Christ worketh not by me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,


And when they had known the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship: that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision:


In whom we have redemption through his blood, the remission of sins, according to the riches of his grace,


Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:


Adulterers, know you not that the friendship of this world is the enemy of God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of this world, becometh an enemy of God.


4 For all flesh is as grass; and all the glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass is withered, and the flower thereof is fallen away.


8 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
