1 Where there are great riches, there are also many to eat them. And what doth it profit the owner, but that he seeth the riches with his eyes?


For itself also is carried into Assyria, a present to the avenging king: shame shall fall upon Ephraim, and Israel shall be confounded in his own will.


The Lord said also to Moses: Speak to the priests the sons of Aaron, and thou shalt say to them: Let not a priest incur an uncleanness at the death of his citizens:

Then were gathered together the chief priests and ancients of the people into the court of the high priest, who was called Caiphas:


And behold a leper came and adored him, saying: Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
