5 Thus saith the Lord: A voice was heard on high of lamentation, of mourning, and weeping, of Rachel weeping for her children, and refusing to be comforted for them, because they are not.


Thus saith the Lord of hosts, saying: This people saith: The time is not yet come for building the house of the Lord.


And I turned and lifted up my eyes: and I saw, and behold a volume flying.


7 For what is the good thing of him, and what is his beautiful thing, but the corn of the elect, and wine springing forth virgins?


And Naas the Ammonite answered them: On this condition will I make a covenant with you, that I may pluck out all your right eyes, and make you a reproach in all Israel.
