And God made a firmament, and divided the waters that were under the firmament, from those that were above the firmament, and it was so.


1 In the six hundreth year of the life of Noe in the second month, in the seventeenth day of the month, all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the flood gates of heaven were open:


2 Then hear thou in heaven: and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, and bringing his way upon his own head, and justifying the just, and rewarding him according to his justice.


0 And I will give thy servants the workmen that are to cut down the trees, for their food twenty thousand cores of wheat, and as many cores of barley, and twenty thousand measures of wine, and twenty thousand measures of oil.


1 And thou didst divide the sea before them, and they passed through the midst of the sea on dry land: but their persecutors thou threwest into the depth, as a stone into mighty waters.


0 Thou sendest forth springs in the vales: between the midst of the hills the waters shall pass.


The mountains skipped like rams, and the hills like the lambs of the flock.


O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my offences are not hidden from thee:


A psalm for David. Of the sons of Jonadab, and the former captives. In thee, O Lord, I have hoped, let me never be put to confusion:


1 I am become foolish: you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you: for I have no way come short of them that are above measure apostles, although I be nothing.


9 And do you therefore love strangers, because you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.
