For the Lord is just, and hath loved justice: his countenance hath beheld righteousness.


3 As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that fear him:


Consider, and hear me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes that I never sleep in death:


Let my tongue cleave to my jaws, if I do not remember thee: If I make not Jerusalem the beginning of my joy.


Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit hath fainted away. Turn not away thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.


7 Lord, when wilt thou look upon me? rescue thou soul from their malice : my only one from the lions.


3 If you sleep among the midst of lots, you shall be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and the hinder parts of her back with the paleness of gold.


4 When he that is in heaven appointeth kings over her, they shall be whited with snow in Selmon.

For the sinner is praised in the desires of his soul: and the unjust man is blessed.
