8 Quicken thou me according to thy mercy: and I shall keep the testimonies of thy mouth.


8 He shall send out his word, and shall melt them: his wind shall blow, and the waters shall run.


He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek his ways.


By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the power of them by the spirit of his mouth:


O magnify the Lord with me; and let us extol his name together.


For they shall shortly wither away as grass, and as the green herbs shall quickly fall.


I was dumb, and was humbled, and kept silence from good things : and my sorrow was renewed.


9 Then shalt thou accept the sacrifice of justice, oblations and whole burnt offerings: then shall they lay calves upon thy altar.


Who will give out of Sion the salvation of Israel? when God shall bring back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.


Why, O Lord, hast thou retired afar off? why dost thou slight us in our wants, in the time of trouble?


The noise of a multitude in the mountains, as it were of many people, the noise of the sound of kings, of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts hath given charge to the troops of war.


Be silent before the face of the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is near, for the Lord hath prepared a victim, he hath sanctified his guests.


5 As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed for ever.


8 He also took him into his arms, and blessed God, and said:


And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth, who hath loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,


The Lord killeth and maketh alive, he bringeth down to hell and bringeth back again.
