The thoughts of the industrious al- ways bring forth abundance: but every sluggard is always in want.


8 Or can he walk upon hot coals, and his feet not be burnt?


0 And behold a woman meeteth him in harlot's attire prepared to deceive souls; talkative and wandering,


The heart is perverse above all things, and unsearchable, who can know it?


And there shall be like people like priest: and I will visit their ways upon them, and I will repay them their devices.


4 And you have said: For what cause? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee, and the wife of thy youth, whom thou hast despised: yet she was thy partner, and the wife of thy covenant.


1 Wherefore you are witnesses against yourselves, that you are the sons of them that killed the prophets.


2 Having therefore such hope, we use much confidence:


8 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is luxury; but be ye filled with the holy Spirit,


3 Take heed diligently lest thou forget the Lord, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and shalt serve him only, and thou shalt swear by his name.


5 Not forsaking our assembly, as some are accustomed; but comforting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.
