8 And he digged again other wells, which the servants of his father Abraham had digged, and which, after his death, the Palestines had of old stopped up: and he called them by the same names by which his father before had called them.


And when I had heard these words, I sat down, and wept, and mourned for many days: and I fasted, and prayed before the face of the God of heaven.


1 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life, thou shalt fill me with joy with thy countenance: at thy right hand are delights even to the end.


6 And the feast of the harvest of the firstfruits of thy work, whatsoever thou hast sown in the field. The feast also in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in all thy corn out of the field.


The cities of Aroer shall be left for flocks, and they shall rest there, and there shall be none to make them afraid.


Remember the former age, for I am God, and there is no God beside, neither is there the like to me:


Give a flower to Moab, for in its flower it shall go out: and the cities thereof shall be desolate, and uninhabited.


9 We have heard the pride of Moab, he is exceeding proud: his haughtiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the loftiness of his heart.


1 Therefore will I lament for Moab, and I will cry out to all Moab, for the men of the brick wall that mourn.


7 And I will execute great vengeance upon them, rebuking them in fury: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.


And the Lord put the word in his mouth, and said: Return to Balac, and thus shalt thou speak.


Was it not thus your fathers did, when I sent from Cadesbarne to view the land?


2 Nobe also went, and took Canath with the villages thereof: and he called it by his own name, Nobe.


He hath loved the people, all the saints are in his hand: and they that approach to his feet, shall receive of his doctrine.


2 But if you will embrace the errors of these nations that dwell among you, and make marriages with them, and join friendships:
