At that time there shall be no peace to him that goeth out and cometh in, but terrors on every side among all the inhabitants of the earth.


0 Moreover you have a mind to keep under the children of Juda and Jerusalem for your bondmen and bondwomen, which ought not to be done : for you have sinned in this against the Lord your God.


5 Said: Why have you saved the women?


The land, which the Lord hath conquered in the sight of the children of Israel, is a very fertile soil for the feeding of beasts: and we thy servants have very much cattle:


3 And Moses and Eleazar the priest and all the princes of the synagogue went forth to meet them without the camp.


9 When thou hast besieged a city a long time, and hath compassed it with bulwarks to take it, thou shalt not cut down the trees that may be eaten of, neither shalt thou spoil the country round about with axes: for it is a tree, and not a man, neither can it increase the number of them that fight against thee.
