9 Now therefore write you this canticle, and teach the children of Israel: that they may know it by heart, and sing it by mouth, and this song may be unto me for a testimony among the children of Israel.


8 Gather unto me all the ancients of your tribes, and your doctors, and I will speak these words in their hearing, and will call heaven and earth to witness against them.


And the Lord who is your leader, he himself will be with thee: he will not leave thee, nor forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.


Moses my servant is dead: arise, and pass over this Jordan, thou and thy people with thee, into the land which I will give to the children of Israel.


And this give in charge, that they may be blameless.


But godliness with contentment is great gain.


1 And we desire that every one of you shew forth the same carefulness to the accomplishing of hope unto the end:


And the woman taking the men, hid them, and said: I confess they came to me, but I knew not whence they were:
