7 They stick one to another and they hold one another fast, and shall not be separated.


For our soul is greatly filled: we are a reproach to the rich, and contempt to the proud.


For thou hast struck all them who are my adversaries without cause: thou hast broken the teeth of sinners.


5 And you shall serve the Lord your God, that I may bless your bread and your waters, and may take away sickness from the midst of thee.


The eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken diligently.


Hear ye what the Lord saith: Arise, contend thou in judgment against the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.


7 For I am ready to honour thee, and will give thee whatsoever thou wilt: come and curse this people.


1 Saying: Behold a people that is come out of Egypt, hath covered the face of the land: come and curse them, if by any means I may fight with them and drive them away.


9 Balaam said to him: Build me here seven altars, and prepare as many calves, and the same number of rams.

You know that after two days shall be the pasch, and the son of man shall be delivered up to be crucified:


There came to him a woman having an alabaster box of precious ointment, and poured it on his head as he was at table.


3 But Ananias answered: Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints in Jerusalem.


2 Nor is it in heaven, that thou shouldst say: Which of us can go up to heaven to bring it unto us, and we may hear and fulfil it in work?
