1 And Moses and Aaron leaving the multitude, went into the tabernacle of the covenant, and fell flat upon the ground, and cried to the Lord, and said: O Lord God, hear the cry of this people, and open to them thy treasure, a fountain of living water, that being satisfied, they may cease to murmur. And the glory of the Lord appeared over them.

1 Neither would he condescend to their desire to grant them passage through his borders. Wherefore Israel turned another way from him.


7 Moses did as the Lord had commanded: and they went up into mount Hor before all the multitude.


And they marched from mount Hor, by the way that leadeth to the Red Sea, to compass the land of Edom. And the people began to be weary of their journey and labour:


4 Among whom there was not one of them that were numbered before by Moses and Aaron in the desert of Sinai.


9 And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest and all the multitude:


1 And they departed from mount Her, and camped in Salmona.


Take ye then good heed that you stir not against them. For I will not give you of their land so much as the step of one foot can tread upon, because I have given mount Seir to Esau, for a possession.


9 And when thou comest nigh the frontiers of the children of Ammon, take heed thou fight not against them, nor once move to battle: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon, because I have given it to the children of Lot for a possession.


Moses commanded us a law, the inheritance of the multitude of Jacob.


1 And the Lord delivered him with all his army into the hands of Israel, and he slew him, and possessed all the land of the Amorrhite the inhabitant of that country,
