Our soul is dry, our eyes behold nothing else but manna.


6 He could not bring the people into the land for which he had sworn, therefore did he kill them in the wilderness.


1 But your children, of whom you said, that they should be a prey to the enemies, will I bring in: that they may see the land which you have despised.


5 Lord, have pity on my son, for he is a lunatic, and suffereth much: for he falleth often into the fire, and often into the water.


7 But Jesus taking him by the hand, lifted him up; and he arose.


9 What then ? Do I say, that what is offered in sacrifice to idols, is any thing ? Or, that the idol is any thing ?
