8 Forthwith Josue the son of Nun, the minister of Moses, and chosen out of many, said: My lord Moses forbid them.


But he answered and said to them: When it is evening, you say, It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.


5 And immediately he obliged his disciples to go up into the ship, that they might go before him over the water to Bethsaida, whilst he dismissed the people.


2 And sighing deeply in spirit, he saith: Why doth this generation seek a sign? Amen, I say to you, a sign shall not be given to this generation.


6 And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee, called Nazareth,


2 And she cried out with a loud voice, and said: Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.


7 And when they had gone up into a ship, they went over the sea to Capharnaum; and it was now dark, and Jesus was not come unto them.
