3 And now I will break in pieces his rod with which he struck thy back, and I will burst thy bonds asunder.


3 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people: for salvation with thy Christ. Thou struckest the head of the house of the wicked: thou hast laid bare his foundation even to the neck.


And when the people cried to Moses, Moses prayed to the Lord, and the fire was swallowed up.


3 And the Lord answered him: Is the hand of the Lord unable? Thou shalt presently see whether my word shall come to pass or no.


But it is not so with my servant Moses a who is most faithful in all my house:


And said to all the multitude of the children of Israel: The land which we have gone round is very good:


7 How long doth this wicked multitude murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel.


2 Your carcasses shall lie in the wilderness.


3 Your children shall wander in the desert forty years, and shall bear your fornication, until the carcasses of their fathers be consumed ill the desert,


6 And he said to Core: Do thou and thy congregation stand apart before the Lord to morrow, and Aaron apart.


0 That the children of Israel might have for the time to come wherewith they should be admonished, that no stranger or any one that is not of seed of Aaron should come near to offer incense to the Lord, lest he should suffer as Core suffered, and all his congregation, according as the Lord spoke to Moses.


0 And the Lord said to Moses: Carry back the rod of Aaron into the tabernacle of the testimony, that it may be kept there for a token of the rebellious children of Israel, and that their complaints may cease from me lest they die.


0 And the children of Israel setting forwards camped in Oboth.


9 What then ? Do I say, that what is offered in sacrifice to idols, is any thing ? Or, that the idol is any thing ?


And the priest taking the basket at thy hand, shall set it before the altar of the Lord thy God:


7 But for the wrath of the enemies I have deferred it: lest perhaps their enemies might be proud, and should say: Our mighty hand, and not the Lord, hath done all these things.


7 Remember thy servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: look not on the stubbornness of this people, nor on their wickedness and sin:


Be not led away with various and strange doctrines. For it is best that the heart be established with grace, not with meats; which have not profited those that walk in them.


3 Is any of you sad? Let him pray. Is he cheerful in mind? Let him sing.


5 To the only God our Saviour through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory and magnificence, empire and power, before all ages, and now, and for all ages of ages. Amen.
