4 And you shall divide it among you by lot. To the more you shall give a larger part, and to the fewer a lesser. To every one as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be given. The possession shall be divided by the tribes and the families.

Six days shalt thou eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day, because it is the assembly of the Lord thy God, thou shalt do no work.

Thou shalt know therefore this day that the Lord thy God himself will pass over before thee, a devouring and consuming fire, to destroy and extirpate and bring them to nothing before thy face quickly, as he hath spoken to thee.

But she made the men go up to the top of her house, and covered them with the stalks of flax, which was there.


And he said to the priests: Take up the ark of the covenant, and go before the people. And they obeyed his commands, and took it up and walked before them.


4 That all the people of the earth may learn the most mighty hand of the Lord, that you also may fear the Lord your God for ever.


That you may be mindful of those words which I told you before from the holy prophets, and of your apostles, of the precepts of the Lord and Saviour.


Again a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true both in him and in you; because the darkness is passed, and the true light now shineth.


0 But you, my beloved, building yourselves upon you most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,


3 And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts, and I will give to every one of you according to your works. But to you I say,


0 He made a vow to the Lord, saying: If thou wilt deliver the children of Ammon into my hands,


6 Why dwellest thou between two borders, that thou mayest hear the bleatings of the flocks? Ruben being divided against himself, there was found a strife of courageous men.


2 But seeing that Naas king of the children of Ammon was come against you, you said to me: Nay, but a king shall reign over us: whereas the Lord your God was your king.
