2 Therefore will I distribute to him very many, and he shall divide the spoils of the strong, because he hath delivered his soul unto death, and was reputed with the wicked: and he hath borne the sins of many, and hath prayed for the transgressors.


But they said to him: In Bethlehem of Juda. For so it is written by the prophet:


3 And coming he dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was said by prophets: That he shall be called a Nazarene.


Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of penance.

Now when he had ceased to speak, he said to Simon: Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

And in fine, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, being lovers of the brotherhood, merciful, modest, humble:
