And behold they brought to him one sick of the palsy lying in a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the man sick of the palsy: Be of good heart, son, thy sins are forgiven thee.


And he arose, and went into his house.


4 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother lying, and sick of a fever:


4 But the Pharisees said, By the prince of devils he casteth out devils.


These twelve Jesus sent: commanding them, saying: Go ye not into the way of the Gentiles, and into the city of the Samaritans enter ye not.


6 And Simon, and they that were with him, followed after him.


0 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down said to him: If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.


1 I say to thee: Arise, take up thy bed, and go into thy house.


2 And immediately he arose; and taking up his bed, went his way in the sight of all; so that all wondered and glorified God, saying: We never saw the like.


7 Jesus hearing this, saith to them: They that are well have no need of a physician, but they that are sick. For I came not to call the just, but sinners.


0 And the angel said to them: Fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, that shall be to all the people:


2 And all gave testimony to him: and they wondered at the words of grace that proceeded from his mouth, and they said: Is not this the son of Joseph?


And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.


3 Which is easier to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee; or to say, Arise and walk?


2 I came not to call the just, but sinners to penance.


5 But what went you out to see? a man clothed in soft garments? Behold they that are in costly apparel and live delicately, are in the houses of kings.


9 That which my Father hath given me, is greater than all: and no one can snatch them out of the hand of my Father.


6 For they heard them speaking with tongues, and magnifying God.


1 Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.


And when they had passed through Mysia, they went down to Troas.

5 Who, when they were come, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost.


And were defeated by the men of the city of Hai, and there fell of them six and thirty men : and the enemies pursued them from the gate as far as Sabarim, and they slew them as they fled by the descent: and the heart of the people was struck with fear, and melted like water.
