2 Saying: What think you of Christ? whose son is he? They say to him: David's.


And he answering, said to them: Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you there shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed.


8 But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart.


1 And the second took her, and died: and neither did he leave any issue. And the third in like manner.


6 And as concerning the dead that they rise again, have you not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spoke to him, saying: I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?


3 And taking the blind man by the hand, he led him out of the town; and spitting upon his eyes, laying his hands on him, he asked him if he saw any thing.


2 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. And the rich man also died: and he was buried in hell.


9 And Jesus said to him: Why dost thou call me good? None is good but God alone.


8 And standing behind at his feet, she began to wash his feet, with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.


2 And John gave testimony, saying: I saw the Spirit coming down, as a dove from heaven, and he remained upon him.


2 The Jews therefore said: Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest: If any man keep my word, he shall not taste death for ever.


Jesus therefore said to them again: Amen, amen I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.


3 And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying: Men, brethren, hear me.


AND when it came to pass that, being parted from them, we set sail, we came with a straight course to Coos, and the day following to Rhodes, and from thence to Patara.


3 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me, and them that were in company with me.


5 But one came and told them: Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple standing, and teaching the people.


6 For this cause God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature.


7 For if by one man's offence death reigned through one; much more they who receive abundance of grace, and of the gift, and of justice, shall reign in life through one, Jesus Christ.


For you remember, brethren, our labour and toil: working night and day, lest we should be chargeable to any of you, we preached among you the gospel of God.


6 But now they desire a better, that is to say, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for he hath prepared for them a city.


And without all contradiction, that which is less, is blessed by the better.


9 In this we know that we are of the truth: and in his sight shall persuade our hearts.
