2 Again the second time, he went and prayed, saying: My Father, if this chalice may not pass away, but I must drink it, thy will be done.


But the chief priests having taken the pieces of silver, said: It is not lawful to put them into the corbona, because it is the price of blood.


For this cause the field was called Haceldama, that is, The field of blood, even to this day.


3 And they came to the place that is called Golgotha, which is the place of Calvary.


8 Watch ye, and pray that you enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.


And Pilate again asked him, saying: Answerest thou nothing? behold in how many things they accuse thee.


8 And if I shall also ask you, you will not answer me, nor let me go.


5 Pilate answered: Am I a Jew? Thy own nation, and the chief priests, have delivered thee up to me: what hast thou done?

That our hope for you may be steadfast: knowing that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall you be also of the consolation.


And in the sight of the throne was, as it were, a sea of glass like to crystal; and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four living creatures, full of eyes before and behind.


There was also another young man of Bethlehem Juda, of the kindred thereof: and he was a Levite, and dwelt there.


3 And the children of Benjamin did, as they had been commanded: and according to their number, they carried off for themselves every man his wife of them that were dancing: and they went into their possession and built up their cities, and dwelt in them.
