How long shall the land mourn, and the herb of every field wither for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? The beasts and the birds are consumed: because they have said: He shall not see our last end.


If that nation against which I have spoken, shall repent of their evil, I also will repent of the evil that I have thought to do to them.


And they brought him bound, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.


5 And after they had crucified him, they divided his garments, casting lots; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: They divided my garments among them; and upon my vesture they cast lots.


2 And Jesus said to him: I am. And you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power of God, and coming with the clouds of heaven.


And Pilate asked him: Art thou the king of the Jews? But he answering, saith to him: Thou sayest it.


4 And crucifying him, they divided his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.


3 And the men that held him, mocked him, and struck him.


0 And the people asked him, saying: What then shall we do?


For the poor you have always with you; but me you have not always.


2 That the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he said, signifying what death he should die.


6 Jesus answered: My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would certainly strive that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now my kingdom is not from hence.
