6 For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, lest he should be stayed any time in Asia. For he hasted, if it were possible for him, to keep the day of Pentecost at Jerusalem.


1 But yet neither is the man without the woman, nor the woman without the man, in the Lord.


1 Wherefore? Because I love you not? God knoweth it.


7 But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that by me the preaching may be accomplished, and that all the Gentiles may hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.


That, being justified by his grace, we may be heirs, according to hope of life everlasting.


3 And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord. From henceforth now, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow them.


6 And he hath on his garment, and on his thigh written: KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.


1 Having the glory of God, and the light thereof was like to a precious stone, as to the jasper stone, even as crystal.


8 And the building of the wall thereof was of jasper stone: but the city itself pure gold, like to clear glass.


And no man was able, neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor under the earth, to open the book, nor to look on it.


And in those days men shall seek death, and shall not find it: and they shall desire to die, and death shall fly from them.
