In his sight I pour out my prayer, and before him I declare my trouble:


The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood: the mouth of the just shall deliver them.


2 And the priest shall pray for him and for his sin before the Lord, and he shall have mercy on him, and the sin shall be forgiven.

9 And his fellow servant falling down, besought him, saying: Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.


He saith to them: Because Moses by reason of the hardness of your heart permitted you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.


For Thou shalt not commit adultery: Thou shalt not kill: Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness: Thou shalt not covet: and if there be any other commandment, it is comprised in this word, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.


Speak I these things according to man? Or doth not the law also say these things?


And not as we hoped, but they gave their own selves first to the Lord, then to us by the will of God:


0 Therefore, whilst we have time, let us work good to all men, but especially to those who are of the household of the faith.


2 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not serving to the eye, as pleasing men, but in simplicity of heart, fearing God.


5 For this we say unto you in the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them who have slept.


From which things some going astray, are turned aside unto vain babbling:


I give thanks to my God, always making a remembrance of thee in my prayers.


0 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.
