1 From that time Jesus began to shew to his disciples, that he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the ancients and scribes and chief priests, and be put to death, and the third day rise again.


1 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall seduce many.


2 Watch ye therefore, because ye know not what hour your Lord will come.


0 The lord of that servant shall come in a day that he hopeth not, and at an hour that he knoweth not:


2 And again he denied with an oath, I know not the man.


8 And when he was come on the other side of the water, into the country of the Gerasens, there met him two that were possessed with devils, coming out of the sepulchres, exceeding fierce, so that none could pass by that way.


4 Even as a man who going into a far country, left his house; and gave authority to his servants over every work, and commanded the porter to watch.


And immediately looking about, they saw no man any more, but Jesus only with them.


And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them not to tell any man what things they had seen, till the Son of man shall be risen again from the dead.


6 But Jesus, calling them together, said: Suffer children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.


4 And Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary his mother: Behold this child is set for the fall, and for the resurrection of many in Israel, and for a sign which shall be contradicted;


5 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son; hear him.


For John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost, not many days hence.


9 They took up stones therefore to cast at him. But Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple.


AND Jesus passing by, saw a man, who was blind from his birth:


9 And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem: so that the same field was called in their tongue, Haceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.


2 If (according to man) I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what doth it profit me, if the dead rise not again? Let us eat and drink, for to morrow we shall die.


For you remember, brethren, our labour and toil: working night and day, lest we should be chargeable to any of you, we preached among you the gospel of God.


8 For in that, wherein he himself hath suffered and been tempted, he is able to succour them also that are tempted.


6 Confess therefore your sins one to another: and pray one for another, that you may be saved. For the continual prayer of a just man availeth much.


For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment:


He that commmitteth sin is of the devil: for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God appeared, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
