But he answering, said to them: Why do you also transgress the commandment of God for your tradition? For God said:

But you say: Whosoever shall say to father or mother, The gift whatsoever proceedeth from me, shall profit thee.

For he said unto him: Go out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

For the Pharisees, and all the Jews eat not without often washing their hands, holding the tradition of the ancients:

9 Jesus answered, and said to them: This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he hath sent.
