9 Who answering said to them: An evil and adulterous generation seeketh a sign: and a sign shall not be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.


6 And he charged them that they should not make him known.


0 Suffer both to grow until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle, and bind it into bundles to burn, but the wheat gather ye into my barn.


7 Again the kingdom of heaven is like to a net cast into the sea, and gathering together of all kind of fishes.


8 Which, when it was filled, they drew out, and sitting by the shore, they chose out the good into vessels, but the bad they cast forth.


And having a mind to put him to death, he feared the people: because they esteemed him as a prophet.


8 And when he was come on the other side of the water, into the country of the Gerasens, there met him two that were possessed with devils, coming out of the sepulchres, exceeding fierce, so that none could pass by that way.


8 And Jesus said to them: You know not what you ask. Can you drink of the chalice that I drink of: or be baptized with the baptism wherewith I am baptized?


AND again he began to teach by the sea side; and a great multitude was gathered together unto him, so that he went up into a ship, and sat in the sea; and all the multitude was upon the land by the sea side.


And he taught them many things in parables, and said unto them in his doctrine:


8 And he said: This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and will build greater; and into them will I gather all things that are grown to me, and my goods.


6 The law and the prophets were until John; from that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every one useth violence towards it.


8 And he cried out, saying: Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me.


2 And he said to Jesus: Lord, remember me when thou shalt come into thy kingdom.


2 And whereas they had not wherewith to pay, he forgave them both. Which therefore of the two loveth him most?


0 Why seek you to kill me? The multitude answered, and said: Thou hast a devil; who seeketh to kill thee?


7 The Pharisees therefore answered them: Are you also seduced?


When therefore they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said to them: He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.


AND as they were speaking to the people, the priests, and the officer of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,


That he might shew in the ages to come the abundant riches of his grace, in his bounty towards us in Christ Jesus.


For kings, and for all that are in high station: that we may lead a quiet and a peaceable life in all piety and chastity.


Who will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.


An ancient man rebuke not, but entreat him as a father: young men, as brethren:


Calling to mind that faith which is in thee unfeigned, which also dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and in thy mother Eunice, and I am certain that in thee also.
