1 The brother also shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the son: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and shall put them to death.


3 And if it so be that he find it: Amen I say to you, he rejoiceth more for that, than for the ninety-nine that went not astray.


9 Now Herodias laid snares for him: and was desirous to put him to death, and could not.


5 And if thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off. It is better for thee to enter lame into life everlasting, than having two feet, to be cast into the hell of unquenchable fire:


6 The Son of man came not to destroy souls, but to save. And they went into another town.


3 But he said to them: Give you them to eat. And they said: We have no more than five loaves and two fishes; unless perhaps we should go and buy food for all this multitude.


8 Now no man at the table knew to what purpose he said this unto him.


And were there preaching the gospel.


4 And when Paul was beginning to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews: If it were some matter of injustice, or an heinous deed, O Jews, I should with reason bear with you.


7 Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air, and so shall we be always with the Lord.
