5 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you go round about the sea and the land to make one proselyte; and when he is made, you make him the child of hell twofold more than yourselves.


6 Woe to you blind guides, that say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but he that shall swear by the gold of the temple, is a debtor.


2 Who answering, said to them: Elias, when he shall come first, shall restore all things; and as it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things and be despised.


4 And coming to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes disputing with them.


1 And Jesus answering, said: O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring hither thy son.


9 Now of that city many of the Samaritans believed in him, for the word of the woman giving testimony: He told me all things whatsoever I have done.


Fulfil ye my joy, that you may be of one mind, having the same charity, being of one accord, agreeing in sentiment.


1 For this is the declaration, which you have heard from the beginning, that you should love one another.
