2 And immediately the cock crew again. And Peter remembered the word that Jesus had said unto him: Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt thrice deny me. And he began to weep.


4 And when he was passing by, he saw Levi the son of Alpheus sitting at the receipt of custom; and he saith to him: Follow me. And rising up, he followed him.


6 And the scribes and the Pharisees, seeing that he ate with publicans and sinners, said to his disiples: Why doth your master eat and drink with publicans and sinners?


9 And Levi made him a great feast in his own house; and there was a great company of publicans, and of others, that were at table with them.


And other some fell among thorns, and the thorns growing up with it, choked it.


1 And many resorted to him, and they said: John indeed did no sign.


(And Mary was she that anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair: whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
