8 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because thou hast obeyed my voice.


5 I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.

9 O praise ye the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2 And for the abundance of milk he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that shall be left in the midst of the land.

2 As the stars of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea be measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites my ministers.


And hath not eaten upon the mountains, nor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel: and hath not defiled his neighbour's wife, nor come near to a menstruous woman:


1 And you my flocks, the flocks of my pasture are men: and I am the Lord your God, saith the Lord God.


Then the nobles, the magistrates, and the judges, the captains, and rulers, and the great men that were placed in authority, and all the princes of the provinces, were gathered together to come to the dedication of the statue, which king Nabuchodonosor had set up. And they stood before the statue which king Nabuchodonosor had set up.


1 I beheld, and lo, that horn made war against the saints, and prevailed over them,


They shall eat the sins of my people, and shall lift up their souls to their iniquity.


Though thou be exalted as an eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars: thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be confounded, every one by his own vision, when he shall prophesy, neither shall they be clad with a garment of sackcloth, to deceive :


And it shall come to pass in that day, that there shall be no light, but cold and frost.


2 And this shall be the plague where with the Lord shall strike all nations that have fought against Jerusalem: the flesh of every one shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.


Speak to all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying: When you fasted, and mourned in the fifth and the seventh month for these seventy years: did you keep a fast unto me?


7 For what is the good thing of him, and what is his beautiful thing, but the corn of the elect, and wine springing forth virgins?


3 Which they left and encamped over against Arnon, which is in the desert and standeth out on the borders of the Amorrhite. For Arnon is the border of Moab, dividing the Moabites and the Amorrhites.


0 The murderer shall be punished by witnesses: none shall be condemned upon the evidence of one man.


But they said to him: In Bethlehem of Juda. For so it is written by the prophet:


AND after six days Jesus taketh unto him Peter and James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart:


2 And the high priest rising up, said to him: Answerest thou nothing to the things which these witness against thee?


4 Jesus saith to him: Thou hast said it. Nevertheless I say to you, hereafter you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power of God, and coming in the clouds of heaven.


9 But Jesus said: Do not forbid him. For there is no man that doth a miracle in my name, and can soon speak ill of me.


0 When they now shoot forth their fruit, you know that summer is nigh;


5 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow.


IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Philip answered him: Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one may take a little.

8 And the Gentiles hearing it, were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to life everlasting, believed.
