And when his disciples were come over the water, they had forgotten to take bread.


4 Jesus said to him: Amen I say to thee, that in this night before the cock crow, thou wilt deny me thrice.

9 But they seeing him walking upon the sea, thought it was an apparition, and they cried out.


4 And they forgot to take bread; and they had but one loaf with them in the ship.


7 For which is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serveth? Is it not he that sitteth at table? But I am in the midst of you, as he that serveth:


7 But they being troubled and frightened, supposed that they saw a spirit.


3 And when he had eaten before them, taking the remains, he gave to them.


4 For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it; for he that shall lose his life for my sake, shall save it.


9 When they had rowed therefore about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking upon the sea, and drawing nigh to the ship, and they were afraid.


He, when he had seen Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked to receive an alms.


And taking him by the right hand, he lifted him up, and forthwith his feet and soles received strength.


3 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, forbade it to be done; and he commanded that they who could swim, should cast themselves first into the sea, and save themselves, and get to land.
